There’s another way to experience Croneology, and we know you’re going to love it! It has the same Croneology snap and crackle, with some interesting differences—these calls are stand alone conversations and Q & A with a guest expert—open to women of all ages.

Each Hot Flash Q & A features a different guest, there to answer any and all of your questions in their area of expertise. Our aim is to zero in on a wide-range of topics related to female reproductive health, navigating middle age, peri-menopause, menopause, sex and body changes, hormones— you name it!

Since we’re both over 50 and childless, Jody’s Gateway Eldership project really resonated with us. Then, on a late-night (for her) Zoom convo, Jody not only educated us but due to her wit and grace, the hour flew by and we knew she was the expert to speak to our community on this woefully under-discussed topic.

A global thought leader on female involuntary childlessness, a psychotherapist, the author of what many professionals consider to be the ‘go-to’ book, Living the Life Unexpected: How to Find Hope, Meaning and a Fulfilling Future Without Children, Jody, a Brit currently living in rural Ireland, was chosen as one of the BBC’s 100 Women in 2013, and a UK Digital Women of the Year in 2021, not to mention her TWO TedX talks!

Needless to say, we’re over the moon to welcome Jody Day to our April Hot Flash Q & A. Whether you chose not to have children (childfree) were unable to have them (childless) or know and love someone who falls into either category, you’ll walk away enlightened. Please bring your questions—we know you have them! BTW: There are No stupid questions and nothing is off-limits!

What happens during a croneology hot flash

Who can join? Women and female presenting individuals of any age.  

How much?  Please remit your payment of $20 USD to Eventbrite A portion of all fees collected will be donated to The New Legacy Institute: A Policy Institute & Social Justice Platform Focused on Equity for People Without Children.

Why a Hot Flash? 
We get it, not everyone has the time to commit to six weeks of Croneology. Sometimes, you just want to hop on a call that interests you and have your questions answered.  Most of all, we’ve heard your requests to open the doors to include all our peri-menopausal sisters and future crones.

Frequently Asked Questions

+ Will I have to ask a question or identify myself at all?

(aka, will I suffer from a vulnerability hangover?)

Nope. We’d love to see your faces, of course, but camera on is optional and mics will be muted. You’re welcome to ask a question and share with the group, or simply listen and take notes. You can email your questions to info@croneology.net in advance or type them in the chat during the call.

+ How is Hot Flash different from the 6-week Croneology round table?

In Croneology, our intention is to build connection and community for women 50+. As we’ve experienced, time builds trust, privacy is paramount, and a sisterhood develops. These smaller, more intimate group conversations can become quite tender, personal and vulnerable.

In Hot Flash, the group calls will be larger, mics will be muted, the pace will be quicker.

+ What's happening with the Croneology round table?

We’re narrowing Croneology to TWO intakes a year—one in spring and one in fall. November Dates to be announced soon.
